The regional open-air museum created in 1937, was officially opened in 1955 in Zubrzyca Górna. The Orava Ethnographic Park presents the history, architecture, material, social and spiritual culture of the Upper Orava region. The exhibition is particularly interesting because of the originality of the regional culture resulting from the combination of the achievements of two waves of settlements - Wallachian shepherds chasing their herds here from the Eastern Carpathians and farmers coming from the north, mainly from Lesser Poland. The museum exhibition is organized in the form of a set of historic buildings, fully equipped, open to visitors, located in the park. The most important elements of the exhibition are: - Lamus - a multi-story building from the 18th century, surrounded by an open gallery, covered with a shingle roof of the tent type, acting as a presbytery granary, - Black Tavern - a 18th-century building of the "henhouse" type with a compact block, covered with a high shingle roof of the Polish type, currently the reception and museum ticket office, - Alojzy Dziubek's Cottage from Jabłonka - a peasant residential building from the first half of the 19th century, covered with a hipped roof, three large chambers in an enfilade arrangement inside, an apiary with characteristic Orava logs, - the Moniaków Manor - building of the village administrator from the 17th century, interior of the "hen's cottage" type, inside the room in an enfilade arrangement, among others, a white room, a black room and a living room, all richly equipped in accordance with the custom at that time, - farm buildings of the manor - including a fold, oil mill, stables, - Paś-Filipka Cottage - a classic Orava cottage from the 19th century with four a sloping shingle roof with an enamel-like arrangement of rooms, interiors equipped with weaving equipment, - Folusz - a log building for fulling of cloth, - sawmill - powered by a water wheel, - smithy - with anvil and powerful bellows, - Poor cottage - Możdżenia - building from the end Of the nineteenth century, characteristic of poor peasants, under one roof a two-room residential house and outbuildings.
